Music Teachers London was founded by husband and wife team Marina and John Haywood in 2015. Both classically trained musicians, they combine knowledge of music and music instruction to assure their clients to receive the best possible guidance and expertise.

The teachers who are working with Music Teachers London are professionally qualified musicians, experienced and dedicated at teaching. They provide music lessons at students’ homes across London and its surrounding areas. With highly skilled teachers who have studied at the most prestigious conservatories in UK including the Royal College of Music, Royal Academy of Music and Guildhall School of Music & Drama, they all have experience with preparing you or your child for exams, auditions and music competitions.

Our teachers are hand picked not only on their credentials but for their ability to work with young students just beginning their musical journey. All our tutors are fully CRB checked and majority of them have undergone the NSPCC Child Protection Awareness course to provide the best possible music tuition especially to minor students.

Whether you look for piano lessons for beginners or acoustic guitar lessons in London, we will find great teachers for most instruments and for all ages, from classical piano, flute or violin to electric guitar or songwriting. We will assess the needs of each student and provide the right tutor to help to achieve your personal musical goals. Being a family run business, we understand the importance of good communication and personal consultation. Therefore we will call or email you back same day after receiving your request and also help you with finding the right instrument, sheet music or give relevant recommendations.

How It Works

1. The first step is simply to contact us. Give us a call or an email using the details here so that we can get straight back to you.

2. Once your request has been assessed and forwarded to the relevant teachers in your area, we will send you CVs of teachers best suitable and available for you.

3. You decide which teacher you are happy to go with and we arrange a trial lesson together.

4. Our teacher will contact you to introduce him or herself and confirm the lesson so you know who you are dealing with.

5. After a successful trial lesson we will follow up your musical journey to ensure that you are happy with your new teacher and are here to help with scheduling future lessons, cancellations, managing the invoices and continue to provide professional advise.
